Access to water at all is a major problem in Uganda and Africa in general, but safe drinkable water especially villages is next to impossible. Water sources that exist are often severely contaminated, making cyclical bouts of severe illness and premature deaths part of everyday life. In Uganda,


20% of deaths in children under the age of 4 are simply due to diarrhea


For these reasons, we have made access to safe drinking water a top priority here at Healthy Impact CEDO.

Water is a basic need; because one cannot live without it.


But in the world today, more than 12.5% or 1 in 8 people do not have access to clean water.


So the question some ask is, should water be a basic human right?
